ABOUT BEN

Benjamin Probst attributes his love of dogs to a cherished family pet, Travis. His current personal dog, Charlie, possesses titles in home manners, barn hunt, dock diving, Fast CAT, CGC, and scent work. An AKC CGC evaluator and accomplished mobility assistance service dog trainer, Ben has been offering private lessons and teaching group classes for West Palm Dog for six years. Ben oversees staff training and operations and will be your first point of contact for West Palm Dog.

ABOUT MARTI

Shortly after Marti earned a PhD in English and American literature at Harvard University, she decided to explore a lifelong passion and dedicate herself to learning everything she could about training dogs.

After three years apprenticing in medicine and behavior at animals shelters in New York City and Austin, Texas, she earned a Certificate in Training and Counseling from The San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers.

Marti's competition experience includes titles in nose work, barn hunt, obedience, rally, and dock diving. Her border collie Lark was the first dog in the United States to earn the AKC Urban CGC title.

Marti's passions include helping dogs integrate seamlessly with their families through a practical, rewards-based obedience program. She also loves the sport of nose work (scent detection for pet dogs). A lifelong horsewoman, she owns a Selle Francais gelding, Uno de Moulinet.

Marti's work has been featured in  magazines such as Sidelines, Wellington: The Magazine, Sun Sentinel, American Kennel Club and The Mercury News.
