BOARD & TRAIN
Commit to 14 fun-filled days of boot camp for your dog.
Think about how your puppy views the world. Your couch? One huge chew toy. Your coffee table? An excellent platform from which to survey the room.
Puppies are full of surprises. Prepare your puppy for a full, happy life – and engage his amazing brain as soon as you bring him home.
Certified Therapy Dog Training
Share your dog’s joyful personality with children or adults in nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabilitation facilities.
Your adult dog can develop the skills to become a reliable service dog and trustworthy partner. I can help service dog puppies get off to the right start, too.
Because each service dog team has a unique relationship, the training process varies. Your dog’s personality and training history and your physical requirements and abilities will have an impact on how often we work together, and how long it will take.
Not everybody wants to train their own dog, or start with a puppy. Clients looking for already trained service dogs available from a 501(c)3 are encouraged to call PAWS with a Cause (Michigan) at 616-877-7297. Open enrollment is January 2-March 31, 2020. We will partner with PAWS through the Public Access and Task Verification processes.
AKC Canine Good Citizen
The American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. In CGC, dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC CGC title. Teach your adult dog how to live in a human world, including:
